Bonnie Howland has the beautiful goal of helping to cure treatable blindness in the South Pacific. During time in Vanuatu she met a lady, a solo mum trying to raise her children, who had cataracts in both of her eyes. Bonnie wanted to help. She's working to transform her passion for beauty into the social enterprise Indigo & Iris, an ethical cosmetics company that apportions revenue to the Fred Hollows Foundation to help fund restorative eyesight surgery.
Bonnie is an alumni of the Live the Dream programme, helping to develop New Zealand's young social entrepreneurs and their ventures – livethedream.org.nz
